About Misa
Before MISA clothing designer Shadi Askari-Farhat pursued a full time fashion career, she was a businesswoman who sewed handbags from vintage fabric in her free time. In 2001, all that changed when she launched Tbags Los Angeles - a line of boho bags and casual dresses. Fifteen years later, Askari-Farhat introduced follow-up label MISA (a combination of her two daughters' names, Milla and Sayeh). Equally inspired by exotic travels and nomadic fashion, MISA Los Angeles apparel offers refreshingly feminine designs with free spirited details.
